How to Add Templates to WordPress with Elementor

Elementor Library gives you access to over 100 designer-made page templates for WordPress. This includes dozens of beautiful FREE WordPress templates.

To instantly get access to all templates, head over to the homepage and download Elementor.

You can use the templates as the basic starting point for your page design. You can browse through the various templates by clicking on the "Add Template" that appears on the right content area of Elementor. You can also click on the Library icon that appears on the bottom of the left panel.

Another great feature of Library is the ability to save your own pages and sections as templates. These can be quite handy in order to create similar pages on the same website or to export them to entirely different sites.  To save your templates, click on the Library icon on the bottom of the panel, then click on 'Save Template'.

Predesigned Templates & My Templates

In Library you will find some really useful templates of homepages, services, about, contact, landing pages and other website pages. These templates are all created by our very own team of professional designers, so you can trust them to be well designed. We are constantly adding more templates, and the new templates are added automatically to Library. The templates can give you a great head start with designing your websites. They also let you "reverse engineer" how we build beautiful pages with Elementor, so you can learn the techniques and settings needed to create great looking pages all by yourself.

1. Click the folder icon located at the bottom of the panel.

2. Choose Templates Library.

3. You can preview the template by clicking the magnifying glass icon, or Insert it into your page.

4. Library also includes the "My Templates" tab, that includes the page and section templates you've created with Elementor.

How to Save Your Pages as Templates

Once you finish creating a page with Elementor, there is no reason why you can't reuse the same page as a reference for your other website projects. It goes without saying that you will still need to customize, update and refresh the template, to make it fit the other website design and also make it unique and different.

1. Click the folder icon located at the bottom of the panel.

2. Choose Save Template.

3. Give a name to your template and save.

How to Save Sections as Templates

The ability to save sections to template is a great feature of Library, letting you mix and match different sections to create entirely new pages. Take the top section from the homepage, the middle section from the services, and the bottom from the about page, to create an entirely new and original landing page. The possibilities are endless.

1. Choose the section you want to save and click the save icon.

2. Give a name to your section and save.
