Can I use Elementor Pro on WordPress.com?
No. Elementor & Elementor Pro both work on self-hosted WordPress websites, and not on WordPress.com.

Licenses & Pricing
Can I use Elementor Pro for my clients?
Yes, you sure can! The best value for money plan for this is our unlimited plan, letting you create an unlimited number of client websites.
Is Elementor Pro a license or subscription?
Elementor Pro is not a subscription! Elementor Pro lets you install and use Elementor Pro on a site for an unlimited period of time. To continue receiving support and updates after the license expires, you must renew it for another year.
When upgrading, you will only need to pay for the difference between your current license and the one you are upgrading to.
What happens to my site if I cancel Elementor Pro?
It stays the same, including all the Elementor Pro special features. Canceling or failing to renew once the license expires only means you can no longer enjoy updates and support.
When does my license expire? What happens after that?
The license is valid for one year. After that, you can still use Elementor Pro, you just don't get updates or support.
Is there a renewal discount?
Yes. You get 50% off when you renew your license for another year, and then you can receive full support and updates. The discount is on the original price, not on the discounted price.
When you use Elementor with a localhost, it is not considered as an activation. To activate Elementor Pro to a live site, you can do it either via your WP dashboard with your license key. or within your account in your Elementor account. If you opt for the second option, go to Purchases > View licenses > Manage sites and then you add the URL of the live site next to the Add Site button.
Can I transfer Elementor Pro from one domain to another?
Yes. If you want to transfer the license to the live site, in your Elementor Pro account, you go to Purchases > View licenses > Manage sites
and then you add the URL of the live site next to the Add Site button.
When I try to update Elementor Pro, I receive this message: "Update Failed: Could not copy file. elementor-pro/modules/panel-posts-control/controls/group-control-posts.php", how can I solve the issue?
This occurs when you work with Elementor Pro from a local host. In this case, you can download Elementor Pro via your Elementor Account in https://elementor.com/.
You will find the file in Purchases > View Details and Downloads.
Once the file downloaded, go to your WP Dashboard, delete Elementor Pro, then in Plugins, click on "Add New" and upload the file of the new version downloaded from elementor.com.
Is there a White Label option?
We currently don't have plans to create a white label option for Elementor. Maybe one will be available in the future. In any case, Elementor is only visible on the site admin, so your visitors won't see any trace of Elementor on the frontend.
Can I include Elementor Pro in my theme / hosting / DIY service?
No. You can only include the free version of Elementor.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes! You can cancel your order within 30 days, and get a full money back, no questions asked.
What are the license keys used for?
License keys are used to verify your purchase of Elementor Pro. It's a vital part of getting support and updates.
What happens if I find out it doesn't work with the theme or plugin on my site?
Elementor Pro works with almost all themes & plugins seamlessly. If you do run into a theme or plugin conflict, our support and development department will do everything to fix the issue. If we can't get it to work, you can always use our 30-day refund policy and get your money back.
Do I get special support?
Yes! Elementor Pro users get premium support from our team of professionals, and directly through their email. We also offer extensive documentation and tutorials for every feature in our docs area.
Does Elementor Pro work on other languages?
Yes. Elementor is multilingual, and we are working on adding even more languages. It is also compatible with WPML, Polylang and qTranslate.
I have already built some sites with Elementor's free version. If I upgrade, will the page I have created remain?
Everything stays the same when you upgrade. You can continue just where you left off, you just get a whole lot more features.
Does Elementor work with posts and custom post types?
Elementor works with all posts and custom post types. In the Elementor dashboard, you can set which post types will be editable in Elementor.
Does Elementor support shortcodes?
Yes. We even have a shortcode widget that lets you easily embed any shortcode right into Elementor.
Can I use Elementor to edit every area on my site?
Yes. By using the global widget, you can modify any area of your site, including header, footer, sidebar and other widgets.
What kind of support comes with Elementor Pro?

Is Elementor compatible with WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads?
Both the Pro and Free versions of Elementor are 100% compatible with WooCommerce and EDD. Elementor Pro also has a special set of features that help you showcase your WC products anywhere on the site, in any way you choose.
Does Elementor work on Multisite?
Yes. However, if you have a domain name per site, you will need to purchase a license for each one or go with the unlimited license.
What is the process for upgrading an existing site with Free version to Pro version?
Simple - You'll get a download link of the pro plugin. You will add this plugin to your WordPress, in addition to the free Elementor version. That's it.
Do you have an API?
Elementor has a complete API already done. We will be publishing a tutorial on the subject soon.
I'm a programmer, can I create add-ons and hooks for Elementor?
Yes. Elementor is an open source project, so you are welcomed to do so.
